D.A.H. Trump’s “Rockets and Dreams” Hits 3,000 Listens on Man’s First Moonwalk Anniversary

On July 21 1969, a man placed his left foot on the surface of the moon, then spoke a few words that lingered in the minds of generations to come: “that’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.” This man, was Neil Armstrong and today marks the anniversary of such a memorial event.

My recent track, “Rockets & Dreams” was inspired by this happening, and fortunately, the track has surpassed 3,000 listens on the day of this anniversary. (Coincidence!?) I am very excited about this. Not to mention, this song has only been out for 10 days, and is already my 2nd most popular instrumental on SoundCloud after receiving your incredible support.

This song has been blogged by WeRun and featured on their front page, (with my fellow member, Sam Sullivan Beats of Producers United). Today, I even hit 400 followers on SoundCloud. I’m not saying my latest achievements are huge, but they are special and are showing signs of progression.

Before I close this article, I’d like to say thank you for your encouragement over the minutes, days, weeks, months and years. My success with this track and my previous tracks would not have been as grand without your support and I hope you or I never forget that. With that said, If you’re reading this message, (1) go to dahtrump.com/music and look at the title of the beat you want. (2) Email me at connect@dahtrump.com asking me about that one beat you want, and I’ll give it to you under leasing terms for free. I will do this for a limited time, but it’s one of my ways of showing you my gratitude.

I’ll have another article up soon talking about my plans for the future or maybe some useful pointers. Until then…

Keep it 100.
